Navigating Challenges: FBS's Three-Day MBA Outbound Training Camp

The FISAT Business School recently organized dynamic three-day Outbound Training programmes for its MBA students, facilitated by Kalypso at the scenic Suryanelli campsite in Munnar. Designed to seamlessly bridge the gap between management theory and practical application, the immersive experience focused on developing critical competencies such as leadership, strategic thinking, resilience, and collaborative teamwork. Participants engaged in a series of intensive experiential learning exercises—including the 'Bull Ring' and 'Helium Stick' challenges, sequential number stamping, and demanding hill treks—which tested their communication, mental toughness, and coordination under pressure. A major highlight of the training was the raft-building challenge, which required teams to effectively allocate limited resources and manage strict time constraints to construct and safely navigate a functional raft. Ultimately, through these hands-on activities and guided debriefing sessions, students gained invaluable insights into shared responsibility and problem-solving, successfully translating classroom management concepts into vital real-world managerial skills.
